“My parents started Lunazul back in the late 90’s-early 2000’s. They worked hard and rolled the dice opening a surf shop back when Sayulita was just a little fishing town. A few restaurants, a handful of accommodation options, 1 phone in town…. you get the picture. Now Sayulita is a bustling town with yoga shalas, bars, a happening food scene and many traveling tourists.

After my father’s passing in August of 2022, with the help of our incredible staff, I’ve began to lead the ship my parents passionately sailed for 20 years. So come rent a board from us, take a lesson, let us take you on a surf trip, or just stop by and give us a high five.

Surfing gave me so much: friendships, the chance to travel the world, a job, and endless memories……and now it is our absolute pleasure to share with you what we truly think is one of life’s purest, most incredible feeling: riding waves. “
